A lovely rustic resort on top of a mountain in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Every year the Naturalists Club of Springfield MA spends a weekend here, with amazing meals prepared by owners Suzanne and Lloyd Crawford. We take nature hikes led by experts in biology, natural history, and other related fields. We learn about bogs, dragonflies, and history, among other topics. We rise early to photograph sunrises and take our telescopes out at night to observe the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, galaxies and anything else someone is curious about. Once we were honored to see a fireball shoot across the western sky. A huge cry went up from those of us who happened to be looking in that direction at the right time.
